I did not expect a city that had been around for so long to have such newly renovated constructions. I think this is partly because the city caters to so many tourists. ... nearby church while I was up there and figured I'd check out and see if there was mass available in the evening, so I would have more flexibility the next day in getting to Malaga.

I ended up at St. Jerome and there were a bunch of people there, but all they did was Stations of the cross . No mass! Whoops. I did get to see two nuns at the end which was sort of neat - I wasn't sure if the Monastery there was still running or not, but apparently ...
