A can drove us to the train station where we caught our nearly 6 hour ride to Madrid. Once in Madrid, a cab negotiated the crazy traffic to our hotel. We didn't have much time but walked around to plaza Mayor, sat in a cafe, found a bookstore with English books, and hit a grocery store for some evening snacks.
