    ... stalls were closed and most of the food was on one floor. We eventually decided on some drinks and croquettes, but as were settling in things seemed to be closing. We decided to leave.     ... a butcher shop with a quasi bar in the middle. There were a lot of people there as well. It was a fun crowd. As the shop started closing instead of telling everyone last call they turned off most of the lights. We walked back back to our hostel and chatted with the reception guy.     ... 12 Gran Via , Mercado de la Reina, at our hotel suggestion and had a delicious dinner. Cooked for us specially because it was only 8 and dinner doesn't start until 8.30!!! I had salmon with roasted vegetables and lemon cream and strawberries. Dozens of police vans and police in riot gear on Gran Via but no idea why? Hopefully not terrorists!
