        Our election observation duties were completed. Although we still had some reporting to do we managed to squeeze in some R&R. Since we didn't have our individual team debriefing with our LTOs until 4:00pm we had a morning and part of the afternoon to explore. This was the one day I was sorry I hadn't talked myself into bringing my DSLR camera but it was best that I didn't since it really would have been a bit of a pain the rest of the time.

        It is one thing to contend with the Cyrillic alphabet, which takes some letters that look like they belong in the Roman alphabet, but makes them sound completely different. Combine that with words which, when translated, have so many letters that they look like something out of the Rumplestiltskin Fairy Tale, and you have your pronunciation work cut out for you!
