    ... at Gatwick ----a total of about two miles as the crow flies, but we got on the M23 and got royally lost in the dark with no map! One day we drove to Canterbury to see the Cathedral and St. Augustine's Abbey, then on to Dover Castle.     ... It was only one of the household staff throwing out the garbage (or, more correctly, checking to see if the bins could be brought back inside the gates, which they couldn't as garbage pickup hadn't quiet happened yet) but as I walked along the opposite side of the road I got to peek inside those gates, at the front door and the guard house inside. It was quite a thrill.

    ... leave to get a black cab back across town, to pick up our second bags from storage, drop them off at the hostel, and then jump in another black cab to take us to the West End, or the theater district. We were off to see the Lion King! What a spectacular performance it was too, with amazing costumes, heart rending singing, beautiful music, and hilarious jokes. I even cried yet again when Mufasa was killed by the wildebeest! A fantastic was to spend the last evening of so so many away from home!

    Flight 1 of 8 done Hotel 1 of 6 done Lounge 1 of who knows how many done!!! Mr M aka Kels dad chauffeured us to Aberdeen International Airport - legend Bags dropped lounged checked in.....the BA lounge is a million times better than the Servisair....Woodford Reserve for Rye.....cards and drinks flowing just gutted our flight wasn't delayed more than 10 mins ha!     Sitting at the airport waiting to board my plane! Stayed the night at a cute little bed and breakfast by the Gatwick Airport, it was nice! I unfortunately only got like 2 hours of sleep for some reason, so I feel like my cold is really acting up again... I hope I can navigate myself through the airport, since most of it will be in German. Ana and I have a busy weekend planned: including hiking the German Alps!
