    Decided the boys could go off looking at dead bricks while Ruth and I went shopping. Thought we would catch the bus, well after waiting ages for the bus to show up the driver did some sort of weird hand signal and stopped away from the bus stop. Ruth ran to catch it but he drove off.     ... we actually ended up having a nice time there. Ios was spent reading, swimming and beers on the beach in the evening.     ... some crazy version of the garden of Eden, where semi wild pea cocks, cats and turtles seem to coexist in peace and friendship amongst a small forest of Cyprus pines.
