We headed down to the port, crossed the huge bridge and made it to two port wineries, not before we stopped to have a snack, I had some of the local custard tarts with cinnamon which is a must in porto. We eventually made our way to the Offley and Taylors port wineries.

So I could have connected the A line I think to Aliados which was the main strip that my Hostel ran off but I wanted to walk there a bit longer to see the city & 8 mins wasn't too bad anyway. I eventually got there after asking a few locals & then the police as the map I had was very confusing. ...
The sun was shining when we left for Porto this morning around 9:00 a.m. and decided to take the "slower" route, more scenic and Tony had discovered about half way, there would be the best place for roast suckling pig. He was so excited about his lunch stop and rightfully so.
The drive was very pleasant, lots of little villages along the way, some larger cities, all with their own special character. Rolling pastures, lots of sheep, industrial areas ...
