Disappointingly tacky. The setting is very photogenic, but it's over-run with tourists. Tourists gawping at other tourists isn't my idea of a fun holiday.

Porto (or Oporto to some) is a must-see for visitors to Portugal, and our main reason for staying in Viseu was that it was fairly close to Porto. At 1:30 we hopped on our boat and squeezed ourself up the front to get the best view possible. As we sailed up the river, we were amazed at the architecture of the bridges. All 6 of them were magnificent and boasted incredible architecture. The ...
... with me. Their seasoning is very delicate - not too salty or greasy. Reminded me of how I loved every food I had in Brazil.
We are in the room and we just saw a beautiful sunset from the window. And now I can see sky and water merging together into blue-grey colour as it gets darker. Beautiful end of the day. Tomorrow I hope to sleep a little bit longer - Portugal is one hour later than Spain. And will explore the city of Porto!
... yes, so what did we actually do in Porto apart from eat Franchesinha?
Port Tasting. Obviously, this is a must. If you hadn’t figured it out yet, Porto is where Port, the fortified wine comes from. (Not everyone makes the connection!) Fun fact 1. Vintage port isn’t in fact one that has been left to mature for many years. A vintage port is made from the harvest of a declared vintage year; a special year when all ...
