... closed in a couple of weeks. This is the last dam before Pickwick Dam which gets us to the Tombigbee Waterway and ultimately to the ocean. So, we might not anchor as much as we had originally intended because we really want to get to the warm weather and the ocean. Guess we will have to make it up for lost time anchoring on the river by spending more time puttering around in the ocean. We are both looking forward to warmer weather.
We finally made it to the southernmost point of the yard sale, Noccalula Falls Park in Gadsen, Alabama a little before 5:00. We did it! We drove the entire length of The World's Longest Yard Sale, driving a total of 1,764.7 miles so far. This trip was about finding stuff at yard sales, and I have found some really cool things, but the memories that were made along the way will be the most valued treasure of this journey. ...
