    ... This saves around 20-30 minutes of one-side journey but also costs double than bus+train journey. During the bus journey, you’ll find Lake Garda on your left for almost 15 minutes, which is just a treat to watch.

    ... to put her feet up. A visit to the museum was on the afternoon agenda which is housed in the castle it was interesting how many paintings of Madonna & Child can be housed in one place. The most impressive parts were the original wall decorations and the walk around part of the castle walls with great views
    of the town in the evening light. She was pleased to be back to check on the patient once more and put her feet up after so many stairs.

    ... the right building. I didn't particularly care for the staff here as they were hardly around, but the room was nice.
    Mantova is nestled into a c-shaped lake, giving it some really wonderful trails to bike around on (especially at sunset).     We got a later start due to a restless nights sleep. Nice hotel but noisy neighborhood around it. The weather however was perfect for touring Verona today. After breakfast at the hotel (coffee was strong!!) we set out to cover many of the sights we had seen the day before on our wine tour but did not stop and enjoy.

    ... breakfast at the hotel (Hotel Plaza) and then departed Padova around 9:00 am to head to Verona. We arrived in Verona at about 10:30 am and had a 2 hour guided tour of the city. We saw Romeo Montague's house (which is a real house and real people live there now) and the main square, and then finished up the tour near Juliet Capulet's house.
