... temples. If you are interested in learning about this faith, it is a never ending task with responsibilities that fall directly upon the pupil. This does not mean you cannot solicit help or advice from the temple or its inhabitant. Its just that a temple stay is far from the schooling I had envisioned.

... aunt's work, dropped off our luggage then went out for a local bite to eat. We ended up finding a chicken place that served grilled chicken. They gave us side dishes one that tasted like caramel apple with a cabbage crunch to it and a very vinegery radish. ... and literally just throw all our stuff right in the Hotel lobby. Check-in isn't for a few hours and all so then its off to walking around. ... shopping area would be like in the orient. You can get everything you want at South Gate Alley. Our time was over and we had a long drive back to the ship thru evening rush hour traffic. I say long in that I was told it was long. When we arrived, I mentioned that the ride back was shorter that the one going and I was told that was because I was awake durning the morning trip. So it was a great tour in which I learned, toured, ate, bought, and even slept. We enjoyed this taste ...

... that I brought three large suitcases as I had to roll them up a huge hill.  I met a bunch of interesting folks that came from different parts of the world including South Africa, Australia, and different parts of the U.S.  I even met several people from Texas.  One guy said this is his second year and he was able to save about ten grand while getting paid 2 million won.  He mentioned that he ate out every day (most Korean foods are between 2000-5000 won = 1.5-3 dollars ...

The school is under construction right now, but it is pretty modern and there is a teacher's lounge with computers for us to use. That is where I am right now. Today is Saturday and I met with the vice director, Christine, to get my lesson plans and to tour the other school building. The bartender then swilled some strong **** and blew a big fireball from his mouth that tore though the very place we were standing moments prior before being ushered out of the way. I keep meaning to take some piccies to load into the blog, maybe I should hurry up and do that because apparently North Korea is threatening to turn South Korea 'into debris'....
