Hung over again

... and went for a walk along the strip again but the most of the places where closed up now so we had a pint in an irish bar again and then we went looking for food. We decided to stop off in another english place called Rumours and could not believe it when they put on all the soaps. We caught up with emmerdale and eastenders until I could take no more and we went off to get some chinese food. It was horrid and made us both feel a ...

Too Funny

... only problem is that the room really smells of smoke its making me feel sick. We dumped our stuff Ian had a quick shower and off we went to look for something to do. Straight into an english bar Browns had a glass of wine and a beer for 4 euros ha ha then went on to another place. Where we are staying is a large area full of english bars and irish bars and we ended up in the smugglers irish bar taking shots of ...

Sunrise over the Med

... promenade in benalmadena which is the name of the town we are staying in. there are actually 3 cities in a row that start 'la costa del sol' they are torremolinos, benalmadena and fuengirola. the promenade begins/ends? in benalmadena and goes through torremolinos. All along the promenade are restaurants, pubs, shops selling souvenirs and of course the beach; the beaches are topless if you so desire. benalmadena is mostly made up of british expats and tourists who pop ...

Morocco deserves more than a day!

... the Moroccan midget down to a quarter of his asking price. We probably still got ripped off, but hey, we got to bargain with an actual Moroccan. After a couple more stops in the twisting streets of the Medina, and trying to avoid the gaze of guys selling everything from cheap bracelets to cheap drums to cheap wodden camels, it was back on the bus to see the real thing. We were told we would get a chance to ride the camels, but because of the rain we had to look at them from afar ...

Where the Bullfight Was Born

... I saw a bullfight my first week here and it really wasn't my cup of tea, but it was interesting to be where all the action takes place. I then proceeded to go exploring on my own, which I actually do quite frequently. I love people but I find I really enjoy some things better when I make my own experience not surrounded by what everyone else wants to do. I started by going down into the Ronda Gorge, which literally looks like a city built on a cliff. It is just ...

Chouette ...

Malaga City Tour

After breakfast and nice stroll on the beach, we head out to see the next city in the list which was Malaga. Malaga is very big compare to its size on the map :)
The trick is to head out to the old part of town to see the actions. Lots of architectures are dated back few years.
Cathedral as like the other places, is a must see in the old city. Small cobble stone alleys make it very nice and easy for walk.
The best ...

Horseback Holiday - Andalucia

... trails justice as I cant snap shots & concentrate on reins or where the girls are going when we're on the steepest portions and along rain-washed paths w/ 100 ft drop-offs just alongside. The horses don't want to fall either, but it's a good thrill to look over edge of the cliffs. We return saddle worn and pay our 50e each with some wonder if we'll be able to climb Gibraltar tomorrow.

... so we had a cappuccino at an outside table, and then strolled through the town. Cynthia's mood improved. We were back at the ship by noon or a little after. I'm really tired, but this excursion was worth the effort, lack of breakfast, and loss of sleep. Once we returned to the ship, Capt Dag came on the intercom to tell us that we'd spend about an hour turning in circles to reset our magnetic compass onboard. We hadn't ...
