    One of the endearingly infuriating habits of my husband (hello dear!) is that we never stay in a hotel without moving rooms once. Or twice. The first room is too noisy ( despite having pre-requested the quietest room at the back) or perhaps it is too light or too near the lift. Room 306 in the Grand Marina Hotel seemed huge and delightful. The very, very faint smell of smoke would, I thought, disappear. At 2.30 a.m ...

    ... to beach- Si blew up the inflatables and we were sorted! The med has to be my fav sea.. Sandy warm and doesn't get too deep too quick, so lots of swimming! We now have a beach bat and ball rally of 329!!! Each day we had to beat our previous rally to get an ice cream and 329 is our final score to date. Yesterday we played tennis on their lovely courts... I actually won the first game!! Yeahyyy!!! But the victory was short lived due to Simons skills! We would usually get back ...

    ... Thursday 30 July
    Left that anchorage mid morning and headed around the coast anti-clockwise We tried to go to one of the coves which has many caves which were inhabited back in the bronze age, but this crowded so we pushed on a few miles further. Found one cove which was full of motor boats on moorings and one yacht at anchor. Ensured we were secure by dropping our kedge anchor and just took it easy.

    ... sailing so we arrived at the campsite after getting a little bit lost on the final hint for this site at about 5:30, some 8 hours from when we set off.. On arrival we checked in and they told us to go and find a pitch, I quite like this but Lorna was none to impressed, after all that driving, she just wanted I be told where to park up but it did give us the flexibility to find a spot which we like and suited! It's a massive site with nearly 800 pitches, all quite shaded so ...
