    ... today for Munich, they needed to be up and heading to the train station by 10am. They were all still asleep at 945, so we decided to ring the wake-up bell in case they wanted a bit of breakfast before leaving. While they were packing up, we decided to do some reading, which ended up to be a 2 hour nap. It seemed like a reasonable thing to do, since we were still jet-lagged and the rain wasn't letting up.

    ... so the hike included a fun flying fox, playgrounds and a working dairy farm. Afternoon went to the swimming pool and played mini golf ( played mini golf.     ... ground can be found. Jerry had a delicious pork steak with a mushroom cream sauce and a potato hash while I had the special, family lasagna. We coupled dinner with a bottle of chianti and finished with a "sweet", fresh blackberry crepe with vanilla ice cream. Our new found friends headed back to their room and we waited for the bill. That's another thing that is different, you have to ask for the bill and you'll probably end up waiting a good bit of time on ...

    ... The benefit (?) of getting above the cloud was a temperature of -8degC at Birg and a rather cool -12degC at the top of the Schilthorn Good job we were keeping active.
    For the next few runs we stayed around the Birg area before heading off up the cable car to the Schilthorn at 2970m.
