... is a hiking day. We set out on what did not sound like a super rigerous hike but turned out to be pretty ambitious. We hiked from Murren to a village of Gimmelwald then down to valley floor. Total elevation decent was about 2350 verticle feet over about 5-6 miles. The views and panoramas are imposibly spectacular. The village houses and farms are quaint, old, and still in daily use.
