... into Lauterbrunnen. Along the way, we saw some BASE jumpers and even one that hadn’t deployed his chute yet. At first I thought it was a giant black bird making a beeline for some prey, but then a big chute came out of the "bird’s" back. It was frightening just to watch!

We had to wait a while for a train to arrive. When one rolled in, we climbed on, but then had to wait about twenty minutes or so. Finally it started to go, and we rode back down to Grütschalp, where we boarded a lift back down to Lauterbrunnen.
