... sun went behind the mountains).

Doug and I had never been to Switzerland in winter before, but had been dreamin' of a white Swiss Christmas for many years. With Dann and Susan Boeschen's endorsement, we headed to Murren, now one of our favorite spots on the planet. I will mention the ******** hike to get here and the average bedding arrangement was overshadowed by possibly the best view on this planet.. almost eye level with the Jungfrau. Anyways so I started walking up the trail and the views and scenery just got better and better. Luckily on the first leg, we were first and had a good view...on the next leg, not so much and we were stuck in the middle limited view. When we arrived at the top we headed to Piz Gloria for a light lunch and to watch the mountains as ...

... partial truths and others flat out lies. Our buddies where to introduce us and give to pieces of information that were true and one that was a lie. You guess which were truths and which were lies???

We are packing up tonight and heading to MUNICH, YES MUNICH AND TO OKTOBERFEST! We have a long bus ride tomorrow, 7 hours.

          Guten Nacht,
I will write again in Munich!
          Love you all,

Today the Oakhall lessons started from the other side of the valley, heading up into a completely different set of resorts. This meant an earlier start to the day as we had to catch a bus up the valley before we ascended the mountains. The day did not dawn well with low cloud blocking our view of the Mannlichen ridge above Wengen so we knew we were heading into cloud.
JJ and I caught the bus by the railway station and headed off. The bus stopped at the Oakhall Chalet and ...
