Yesterday, we left Saguira by the 8.15am bus, farewelled by Kento who waved us off and also by Mr Abe, who gave us a sealed packet of Saguira sand as a souvenir of our time in his fishing village. We had the same bus driver as the day before and we were given a warm greeting by the two ladies who again boarded the bus (we think they must work in Izumo Taishan). Early start of the day, wake up call at 6am! It was pretty good to book train tickets the day before, otherwise we would be struggling with time!
Shinkansen to Okyama then JR Express train to Matsue - total travelling time just over 4 hours.

Today we moved to Matsue. We had to catch a train to Osaka station, then to shin- Osaka, then find the bullet train. We finally got to ride on the bullet train! Then we caught a train across the country to matsue. This train ride was 2 and a half hours so most people listened to music or slept.
