Es handelt sich hierbei um Gesteinsformationen, welche durch die gezeitenbedingte Erosion entstanden sind. Bei Ebbe kann man um die Formationen herumlaufen. Wegen des Tidenhubs von durchschnittlich 12 Metern stehen die Felsformationen zweimal täglich unter Wasser. Nachdem wir heute das Ganze bei Ebbe angeschaut haben, gehen wir morgen nochmals bei Flut vorbei.

Spent the morning doing the tourist thing - went to an Acadian museum, visitors' centre, etc. The most eventful part of today was a short afternoon drive from Moncton to Hopewell Rocks, which is in (on? near?) the Bay of Fundy, the site of the highest tides in the world.
