We were driving to Moncton today but we took a short diversion to a town called Joggins. It is still in Nova Scotia and on the south side of the Bay of Fundy. It is another UNESCO world heritage site. It is on the water and it's cliffs are 30 meters high and stretch for 13 Km. The entire stretch of land is uplifted from the ocean and contains 300 million year old fossils. The beach has trees that were fossilized in a ...
... huge. Twice the size of the Pilot Whales that Jo and I saw in NFLD. I walked back and forth from Port to starboard to watched them. Suddenly one of them breached. I did a solid job with the fiberglass, it is tough, and ...
... They are awesome drivers as we had them last year too.
We drove all night and have stopped in Charlton, Massachusetts for breakfast at a service center. We opted for McDonalds, since it was the only restaurant open at is just past 6 a.m.
The overnight drive wasn't too bad, but it will be nice to have an overnight in North Carolina at the Hampton Inn tonight.
Time to log off for now as we will be loading the bus ...
