The trains also run on time, always, the train stations are like airports where you wait in a large lounge area before being allowed onto the platform to board the train, and the train leaves exactly when it is meant to and arrives exactly when it is meant to also, incredible.

Our hotel in Hangzhou is a traditional Chinese garden hotel - so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast room was along a lake with swans and ducks and colorful flowers. Today was another long and very exhausting day! We went to the Lingyin Si temple complex located about 30 minutes outside Hangzhou. In order to get there we had to drive through some picturesque villages. Hangzhou is also well known to produce the best tea in China and on the way to the temple complex in the mountains we had the change to see the tea terraces were it grows.
