... memorandum of understanding between our schools with Principal Rose. This is a formal ceremony where both principals sign an agreed understanding to continue our sister school relationship and exchange gifts.

Later in the afternoon after school had finished we met our host student and then it was off to spend the weekend with our host families.

... is often a matter of taste. Many in our group preferred the taste of the less expensive leaves over the high price ones. Personally, the higher quality leaves did taste a little better in direct comparison, but I cannot say that I would ever know the difference when ordering tea to go with my lunch.

With tea purchases complete, we headed back to the bus to begin our journey back to Shanghai. We made a quick stop at the famous West Lake before heading to the train station. ...

They break the mussel open and throw it behind them, where another row of workers scrapes out the body of the mussel along with the pearls that have grown inside. This pearl-mussel “slop" is dumped into a machine that separates the 2,and the vat of pearls is then dumped into a huge vessel where the pearls are bagged and driven to the inside factory for further production.

Barely took any photos in Hangzhou as it ****** it down most of the time we were there but here are a few. Hangzhou isn't much of a wintery place really as most of the activities are based around the lake. We attempted to walk around it on my birthday but got soaked through so went to a silk museum instead. I told you it was three wet and wild girls let loose in China...We made up for the ****** weather by going for some real nice food at a restaurant called Grean Tea restaurant though. ...
