    ... wrestling and twice a day all the kids got to feed our leftovers to the chickens and collect the eggs. Remarkably the villa owners, Linda and George also had a fish pond.... so on our final day we convinced Mitch that Jacques deserved a better home than a plastic box and he was released into the pond with all the big boys! Can't wait to plan another European vacation with the Scarlett's in a year or two!! Eeny, meeny, miny, moe on the location! ...

    We are sailing today from Lyon to Tournon, there has been a lot of rain so the Rhone river is on Orange alert, which means that big ships cannot sail. The reason is that the Rhone has several locks, which are really really fascinating. I've never sailed on a boat like this before (not to brag, but I have been assigned the role of ballast on a catamaran previously) so these locks are so great! ...

    ... walk on, unbelievable! After the museum, we walked around the theatres. They were built in the first century A.D. So we are walking around stones that were put up around 2,000 years ago. I love it!
    After looking around there, we headed into old Lyon for some lunch. Then we walked over to the River Saone for a 1 hour boat ride up the river and back. Lots of old buildings ...
