... It was another quaint town and it's interesting to see the girls who work in shops wearing white pinafores. I don't think that would catch on with our checkout chicks - or blokes for that matter.

Oristano was one of the major cities we passed on the way and we had a quick stop at the nearby Marina di Torres Grande but when it comes to grand(e), it was hard to top some of the towns further north.

... La Pelosa’ – reputedly the best beach in Sardinia. Stintino is seriously quiet - but then with the exception of restaurants, all Italian towns and villages effectively close down between ~1pm and ~4pm – but La Pelosa is just buzzing.
