        ... place is beyond me. Dianne has gone to a show I didn't want to go so walked her down and wandered around for a while, so much going on you don't know where to look. We will check out the Ballargio, don't know how to spell it sorry, tomorrow. Have seen Caesars Palace etc etc, I need my notes bugga...thousands of people around so feel quite safe wandering around on my own, although bump into friends from tour every now and then.

        ... It's 11am by now and it's pretty busy but not too bad, only got caught in wrong lane and couldn't take the first off ramp we were directed onto but the GPS soon had us back on track. We switched from one 4-5 lane freeway to another 4-5 lane freeway about 3-4 times and then you could tell we were heading out of LA proper.         ... was only one roulette table in the whole place, so we quickly corrected our mistake and jumped in a cab back to planet Hollywood and the cosmopolitan. We gambled for the rest of the evening. Tuesday We had a bit of a lie-in and then decided to head down town. Michael was particularly excited about this trip as it involved going to the mob museum.         ... big deal (says the passenger) as you just stick to the freeways - some are 8 lanes but it's all good. We went past an exit to "Ballard Road" - Wendy - was that named after you? Also saw "Mulholland Drive" and the exit to "Caltek Pasadena" where the Bing Bang boys work. There was a haze over LA (as opposed to the lovely sea air at Santa Barbara).
