... quite annoyed when we arrived as the sign actually said that we didn't need to to through Customs until two hours prior, so it might have worked out that we could have gone into town. We had a very long time to waste at the airport.

We eventually took off, put our watches forward an hour, and arrived just before 9.30pm. Caught a shuttle bus to The Excalibur hotel and got dropped ...

We started a bit later today and walked straight across to the High Roller to see Las Vegas from a different perspective. High Roller looks like the London Eye but is reportedly higher at 550 feet (compared to the Eye's 500 feet) - pretty spectacular views and greater awareness of the city really being larger than expected but stops at the base of the mountains ...

... at the bank on Monday – the day after we leave. I made an appointment with the bank for later that afternoon. We drove back to the storage unit with another box and met Megan for a quick lunch at Wild Rice in Westminster Quay. She gave us a lovely miniature Christmas tree she picked up at the Coombs Market where they have goats on the roof. Back to the bank – they agreed to forward the card to me to the RV Park where we will be later in the month.

... me where my passport was. We retraced our steps and found it! Thank you God for saving us from that potential hassle!! Once on the plane, we set up a movie and prepared for relaxation. Delicious enchiladas were served for dinner and a lemon cheesecake for dessert... not bad for airplane food! We made it through our 4.5 hour plane ride, gathered our 5 pieces of luggage, and hailed a taxi to take ...

... Airlines are getting tougher on baggage restrictions as they can make money on excess baggage. In this case United would charge $100 for an extra suitacse possibly more if you left until you got to check in. So it is sometimes worth either paying on line in advance for an extra bag or posting stuff home. DO NOT POST NEW STUFF HOME. there is no Customs Allowance for posted stuff so you might get hit with Duty VAT and the U.K. Post Office charge. plus it might go missing. No fill ...
