... in the busy, buzzy baggage hall. Time passes quickly while you wait for your luggage because there are videos of current shows. Very noisy and bordering on annoying. The luggage duly arrived and we soon found ourselves in the fast moving taxi queue. Hmmm, is there a pattern emerging? When there is no possibility of a tip, service speed is glacial. When there are tip opportunities (expectations?) you are moved very ...

... We won $33 and cashed out, had Italian for dinner. Had a Stromboli which was pretty good. Walked back along the strip at night, very pretty, Venetian, Treasure Island, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore thousands of people everywhere, mostly drinking. This time in Vegas was a taste of luxury for me after 5 months of ...

... 8217;d be ok camping. We did find a spot just, but were disappointed with the site facilities. In fact the campsites so far in the US have been really disappointing for us. I think we thought they’d be all singing all dancing like Oz and NZ, but in fact they’re clearly designed for the average American with massive RVs which have all the facilities on board - showers, washing up/cooking areas, laundry, not to mention toilets and water don’t seem to be a ...

    ... a bad morning's work really.

MGM was in full swing because it is hosting "the fight of the century" this weekend. The fight is the talk of the town with posters and promotions everywhere. We weren't interested in the fight, just wanted to get a picture of the "animal chairs" so we pulled up a booth in the Rainforest Cafe. Sitting in the darkened rainforest with menus presented in 10 point font the #Fab5 had to be creative. Mobile phones ...
