We were up early today for our Mount Fuji day trip, picked up at the hotel with brilliant blue skies so we were really confident of getting a day to clearly see the mountain from below. We had a 1.5 hr bus journey and it was still a clear day although the closer we got to the Hakone region, the snowier it became! As luck would have it when we reached the bottom of Mount Fuji, the clouds came in ...
Felt a bit sick this morning! Not much to say other than we're very much looking forward to seeing everyone back home, but are sad our trip is over. view of Mount Fuji but alas the cloud and mist took over everything
behind the buildings just in front of us. Still, it was good to have
arrived and we went for a wonder round ...
