    ... I was hammering on that thing. I don't know why I've been naming these cars. I've never named any of the seven I've owned. After some anxious moments in traffic, speeding and other aggressive behavior, I made it back to the car rental office at 12:05 pm. I caught a Shinkansen to Tokyo Station. Then a JR subway train, which was very uncomfortable for two hours Otsuki Station, and finally another train to Kawaguchiko Station.

    ... look very nice for the few minutes that was clear.
    We checked in at the hotel which is a traditional Japanese hotel with mats and no shoes in the room. It has it's own hot spring in the basement. We went for a nice soak. The hot spring pools are segregated and no clothes are allowed.
    Dinner was traditional Japanese banquet called Kaiseki. It was more of an art display than a meal. Six courses later, we were full. Sake was great. ...

    ... we finally park the car. We enter the long main street and slowly walk down. On one of the corners is a fishmonger. You can buy your fresh fish and then grill it on a grill outside of the shop. Several stray cats seem to be regular customers too, quickly eating small bits and pieces that fall on the sidewalk as well as inspecting the trashcan for leftovers....     ... for shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. The shower is the handheld style, so you're sitting down on the stool and using the handheld shower to clean yourself. It's a good way of relaxing before you enter the pool, and, after the shower, your skin feels chilly, so the warmth of the pool is welcome. The main pool is quite warm, but there are other, smaller pools of both hotter and cooler temperatures.
