Vandaag eigenlijk niet veel gedaan (het is hier nu ongeveer 14u) maar het regent hier al de hele dag. Deze ochtend een uurtje of 2 gaan wandelen maar was natuurlijk volledig al doorweekt na 10min.
En je kan hier eigenlijk niks anders doen dan buiten wandelen dus RUSTDAG !

Deze ochtend rond 9u vertrokken en aankomen hier in de buurt van mount Fuji. Was ongeveer 6u met de trein met verschillende overstappen ( geen enkele keer de weg moeten vragen !)' en 622km van Osaka.
Tegen 15u hier nog wat rondgelopen , eten gaan kopen en rusten !

... was really peaceful. Unfortunately the bread rolls we'd bought had peanut butter in them - the Japanese really do have a sweet tooth. So we put a banana in and hey presto, a pretty nutritious lunch! Unfortunately it cloudy it of a cloudy day and at first we were worried that we wouldn't see anything! This is the longest blog so far in this trip, cause a lot of time spent on trains
Took JR, train and train again to get to Fuji train station, total of about 2 something hours.
I have to make a comment, the worst washroom I went to China was still better than the one in Fuji train station :(
I forgot to chk the weather for Fuji, the weather at the Mt is 10 degree lower than the station. It was cold in the station, probably mid teens ...
... not really communicate with anyone in the group as I’d forgotten all the Japanese I stopped learning a decade ago.
Anyway, there were a series of huts we came across on our slog to the top. The guide websites said that food/drink prices increase with each hut, and they’re right! It got to the point where a bottle of water was Y600! Considering they’re Y100 in a convenience store in town, that’s ...
