... After the last beach experience I didn't expect to swim, but it was so good I ended up in anyway, and very happy that I did.

On day 2 we went to a different area which was good for beach activities, but the beach itself wasn't nearly as nice. We did go out on a boat for a wee ride which was fun, but most people agreed we would rather have stayed at the first place and spent the time there.

None of the chairs matched, the guard rails were tied together using some kind of dried plant, and the dining area didn't even have a roof, but the place was hopping. We spent the night soaking in the large communal springs before we retired for the ...

... our final reflection interviews with Nathan, Alana, and Al. The city of Enping hosted us for dinner at the village. One interesting factoid about Xiema Village: the pilot who flew Nixon to China when he first came to meet in Chairman Mao in 1972 was from this village. A lot of scholars and politicians come from this village. It has a beautiful scholar park area where people can study and contemplate with nice sculptures ...

... the traditional Chinese game of Marjhan which involved china tablets and rules that are quite similar to Rummy. The insructions were quite complicated so some people completetly zoned out after the walk but am proud to say that I won the last game of the night - hurrah! Modest as ever, I only mentioned it once or twice to the competitive men :)

Then it was a 1 hour hike the next morning downhill to our bus ...
