    Today, as I got on the 518 bus at 8:30 am to head to work, I noticed that most of the vertical grab bars or rails that you hold as you stand or navigate the aisle have been wrapped in red cloth.

    ... this one only went up. It opened into a ticket check-in kiosk. The agent freaked, started talking fast in Chinese, pointing downwards. I was trying to explain that we had just completed our trip (showed her our tickets) and were trying to find the exit to get a taxi.
