... what the ones meant for tourists might have been like, but the public springs were full of happy old Taiwanese people. The area was very small, with five or so different little pools; two cold, and three ranking from 35-45 degrees. Seeing as the outside temperate was already about 34, with a cloudless blue sky, I managed about 4 minutes in the 35 degree pool before my vision started swimming. The place was pretty nice, everyone was having their own little peaceful moments ...

... and there was no shouting or screaming.


Taipei's streets were very very busy but again, unlike Busan, rules were followed and order maintained. Mopeds were the main mode of transport and this seems to be a theme throughout the places we have visited so far. In Taipei, when the green man shows it IS safe to cross. Even the motorbikes stops which was quite a novel experience for us.

... grape cocktails, roved night markets, eaten pigs blood, duck blood and tofu that smells like ass but tastes like a dream and every tropical fruit under the sun. Rice rolls, plum juice, volcano eggs in chilli sauce, nougat, beef and cilantro soups, cheese omelettes, BBQd corn - Taipei has everything and I am loving every minute of it.

... 8217;t concerned at all. Now I have a good sense of the Costa Cruise Ship capsizing incident a few years back, and wasn’t surprised about the ship captain abandoned the ship very early on……..Maybe Italian have different sense of urgency and responsibility.

Dinner scheduled at 6pm, though was delayed because of the late start of the emergency drill. A different story by itself. I looked at the meal voucher right before getting in ...

... It was such a complicated way to make a tea. Too complicated for me. I was expecting a tea bag. But here once we added the hot water to the tea leaves we had to count to 20 for a normal tea or 25 seconds for a bitter tea.
