... I think a little attention to strengthening and stretching when I get home will improve this. It's pretty weird though. I decided to shoot for Monroeville. It's a town of about 1,200 pop, but it's listed as a place with "cyclists only camping." I always try to stay at those places, because I think it's so cool that people care enough to cater to us weirdo travelers. I stopped in Deedsville to decide if I was going to shortcut off-route. Family update

A travel blog entry by clara.sayre on Aug 11, 2014

My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.

Today is John and my 13th wedding anniversary. A bit bittersweet, but pretty wonderful to spend it with family. Our family bought us a gift card to a local restaurant for an anniversary dinner tonight. There is so much love here right now.

Trucks were moved out of the way (even though tent crew was taking down the tent at the same time), financial support for unexpected road trip expenses ...

For our oldest son's birthday we decided to go RVing! Surprise!! We based our decision on where to go on where we could find the least expensive Brazilian Steakhouse. :) We ended up in the Bluffton, IN KOA. Our (mis)adventure started out in the usual fashion. On a hunt for Organic Coconut Oil for Boss Lady Reesey and Princess Spoiled Fancy-Pants, they absolutely cannot eat w/o it drizzled on their food! No way!! Once that ...

We have arrived home, but before that, spent the last week visiting relatives in Indiana. Toured most of the state. Timing was right to visit Lance's dad at the funeral home :(, but saw many relatives and enjoyed the time together.
