        ... It was nearly 10pm by the time we left and families and groups of people of all ages were still out enjoying themselves. During the rest of our visit we frequently found ourselves similarly transfixed just watching daily life, though never more so than outside the Bolshoi Theatre. Here we watched and photographed ballet of a more urban kind as two teenagers practised some incredible flatland BMX tricks for over an hour.

        ... Park train station. The chase was on!
        First step was educating them, that they needed cash, scalpers don't take Visa! She had a Visa and pulled $100 in rubles, long way to go. I had $600 USD on me...I originally was on a hunt for a cheap ticket and had to be prepared...I told them that I would lend them my cash. We looked for the scalpers and couldn't find any...I sent them in the gates and continued my search...found them by the other side ...

        ... amazing what they can put in an 8 by 8 cubicle. We would find that much stuff in a department store at home.

        Finally tired of the rain and dealing with umbrellas we are hungry and cold and meet brad for an early dinner which ends up late as we meet with more Canadians at the meet other Canadians and tip a few.

        Dam another late night but what a great day ...

        ... to the ship, again passing through security before entering the port area. It's a 300 metre walk across an open cement pier from the security station to the ship, then we have to pass through another ship security station, all with Xray and metal detectors.

        ... last night too, let the madness begin! On the medical side of things we are finishing up the last touches on our clinic. We got here with 2 inflatable ice baths, but we had no pump and were missing one of the caps, but don't think for a minute that it stopped us. We fashioned a cap that would make McGyver proud.
