Museums here we come

A travel blog entry by tastetheworld

Oslo is one of my favorite cities. Though the city has some 1.42 million residents, it feels much smaller. It is surrounded by parks, water and a total lack of sprawl. It is low key, very friendly and it is the one place in the world I have been to that I look like a native, despite having no Norwegian ancestors (however, the Vikings …

What a contrast Norway is to Iceland! Coming in to Oslo the vista from the air was all green forests, lakes and quaint houses and farms. Think Minnesota. No wonder the Norges migrated to the Great Lakes region. Spencer was a total Zombie by the time we got out of the terminal. No one, except me, slept on the flight but the lack of shut …

After a relaxing cup of coffee I headed back to the ferry port where I parked up and decided to give my rather dirty looking bike a bit of a clean. Thanks to all the rain yesterday she was extremely dirty. With a small rag and some WD40 spray oil I gave her a wipe over.
