With the time change, we were all awake quite early, but with the blackout curtains in place, no one was in a hurry to get up. ... in the 1800’s. Apparently when it was built, they wanted to minimise the number of bridges, thus the route just follows the terrain-steep ups and downs. ... until it was twilight. We stopped at a little pull out overlooking a fjord, and found that it was a site for a memorial where allies fought Nazi’s. There was a whole history about the area; Nazi’s hid prisoners, the British rescued the prisoners and several allies were killed.

We docked early in Kristiansand. The captain said that there were going to be rough seas last night so he traveled faster than planned to avoid the rough sea.
