        ... boat leaving and hence we actually departed Venice at around 7:55am. Upon arrival back at the Venice airport we just had to make a reasonably long track to car park number 5 in order to collect Travis. Parking at the airport turned out to be a pretty good call in that the total charge for 3 and a bit days parking only cost €27.         Today we picked up a rental car and headed for the mountains! As with many rentals, we got something bigger than we reserved because that was what they had...it's not too big though, and so far it has treated us well.         ... together and we cannot believe how fast it has gone. We have had lots of fun and all of us have relaxed this week.

        The next day we check out and drive onwards – after our little holiday, it is time for some hard travelling. We drive half a day each and stop on a stony beach near Vieste where we enjoy some snorkelling and sunbathing.
