And so it was time to turn in and the boys went out like a light, but unfortunately the same couldn't be said for us as every rattle and squeak and passing high speed train echoed through the cabin. It was going to be a long ...

... is finally declared the winner after scoring 1 goal after 120 minutes of play and the locals start tooting their car horns, ship horns, bells and setting off fireworks around 11.30 p.m.

Fortunately, steady rain outside keeps the noise to a minimum and Tarina gets a good night's sleep unlike her experience back in Frankfurt when Germany won its first game of the tournament. Well done Germany - 24 years since the last world cup win.
