02.-03.10.2014, Hamburg - Dubai - Ho Chi Minh No i lecimy.

(Town Hall) and had a look around the area. The Rathaus was old worldly in
appearance and really well kept. This was around lunchtime so we bought some
really nice rolls went to Starbucks for a coffee and ...

Even less desire to swim there than Sydney Harbour! We had a slight detour due to the low tide making it dangerous to follow the stated route. Cranes, functional and ...

... anticipated but with plenty of time to explore the town and enjoy the festival market. The main market square was swamped with stalls, people and live music. Directed to a hotel on the edge of the old town. While you could walk through to the car park, driving there required the concierge to sit in the car with me and give directions. Made it. The hotel appeared to have expanded as space became available in adjoining ...

... 110kms up the Elbe River from the North Sea.

We walked into town along the Spitalerstrae Mall and had a look in at a few shops. After lunch we noticed the large Stadtfest happening all around the Binnenalster and went to take a quick look. Right next to the Binnenalster is the Rathaus (town hall), which is absolutely huge and really reminds me of the one in Brussels.

No wanting to stray too far from the train station we looped down to the Zollkanal ...
