... Central Station to our lodging. Our host, Francois, let us drop our bags off, and suggested some targets to seek before our 2 pm check in time. Winkles came first -- reputedly the best apple tarts in the city. We had three between us.....no breakfast on our flight, so wanted to drive the blood sugar up. Biking is crazy, kinda dangerous, and sometimes cumbersome (if you have a one gear bike with pedal breaks like I do).
