The next day I slept in until about 9:30am and then went downstairs for breakfast. There was no sign of movement from Aaron so I made him a sandwich and snuck it back upstairs. I got ready and met Sam near the RIjks museum, where he had been in the morning. We went to a cute little café and got hot chocolate and a toasted sandwich. Aaron then met us out so we could go on the Heineken brewery tour. The Heineken tour was nothing like ...

... new church, it's still very old, but is newer than most... When the Palace was being built the church was unhappy at being dwarfed by the palace, so as a peace offering the palace builders offered to build the church a tower that would dwarf everything else, when they had finished the palace. Unfortunately for the church the builders ran out of money and it never happened!! Terry took us through the red district and explained how "the system" worked saying the girls were much safer ...

... scarves and other more Dutch souvenirs. We ended up going inside the first of these tourist shops and Care got adorable pink clog slippers for her ferrets to steal. As we wandered around there we found the fattest cat ever and we played and then the owner -a tiny brunette probably in her late 20s- decided to engage us in conversation. The long story short is that her cat ran out this morning and when she was calling her to come back some lady on a bike stopped ...
