... Some stretches were ramps, evidently for horses. We were in no hurry, affording the time to not only photograph but also reflect.

The group walk left at 1500. Far too many were already at the sunset point when Trav and I returned there around 1715. Had a Sprite I truly enjoyed, getting Trav a water [30Y]. I was a bit leery about the sunset but we stayed. It was truly unspectacular.

Left for everest base camp and stopped at tashilunpo monastery in shigatse whilst our guide sorted our alien travel permit.
