Each cabin has six beds so i shared my journey with a family that had four generations aboard. there was great grandmother, her son and his wife, their baby, and their two grandkids. The kids spoke a tiny bit of english but other than that there was alot of miming. I felt like ...

It was so bloody cold probbly because there was no heat to speak of in the open dining area - the air conditioner wasn't working, apparently. So we ...

A summary of china

A travel blog entry by pennyduce on Jul 20, 2011

Now that I've left China I've had a bit of time to reflect and always like to share because it's fun stuff that rarely gets mentioned in travel books: Firstly China, as we know, are the experts at counterfeit brands etc.  Well now they have taken it to a new level.  One city in China has a fake Apple store.  Yep an entire store, with fake staff uniforms, products, signage.. And it looks like the real McCoy.. I guess the msg is don't  ever buy anything expensive in China because ...
