... selling all type of products (ok, I understand the food or the battery charger..but leather belts?? WHY??). Beside this the same noisy, friendly, all-time-eating ambient. Even the tons of cigarettes smoked between coaches.

The landscape changed slowly outside the windows (really, really slowly, the average speed was that of a regional train). Green mountains changed into rocky desert, in to sand dunes, into flat land. Beautiful!! Especially the desert ...

... because we were two blonde tourists so we went to the Hilton hotel, asked them to call us a metered taxi and it cost us 20 to get home. Unfair everyone tries to rip us off!

So today was a very special day. I stood on the great wall and couldnt actually believe we were there. Its one of the wonders of the world, get goose bumps just remembering it!

Tomorrow Alex and I will start sniffing and burping too - if you cant beat 'em, join 'em surely?!

... asking some other Chinese tourists that spoke English we took their direction and continued walking toward the snowcapped peak of Jambeyang across unmarked fields. It seemed odd after an hour of walking towards nowhere where the trail would often disappear.
