We reached our first stop last night in Amarillo, Texas. It was probably the dirtiest place we have ever stayed 😝 no working shower or heater!! And I mention the heater because it somehow managed to be 38 degrees in Texas! But we made it work and still enjoyed each others company and had a good nights sleep. We stopped litterally on the highway, I got out, got the photo and then we carried on driving!!! Needless to say, there wasn't any traffic!!

We chose a campground that had a swimming pool and a laundry because those were our two needs tonight. The pool was a little cold, but still felt refreshing.
