... Inn and Suites in Christiansburg, VA. They upgraded us to a suite. Went to "Due South Pit Cooked BBQ". Clara and I had Short Ribs. David had combo ribs and pulled pork. All thought it was ok but not the best we have had. Stopped for gas $22.01. Then back to the room to ring in the new year. Alberta & Bill called to wish us a happy new year. ... Church and our School Chapel at Boston College this church was run down. I found out later it was founded in 1873, St. Leonard’s Church is the first Roman Catholic Church in New England built by Italian immigrants.

On the way back to Faneuil Hall I walked up Hanover Street which was in the midst of Little Italy full of restaurants and exotic cars.
