Tucumcari, NM hasn't changed much in a lot of years, other than a truck stop on I-40. Many businesses still closed for season. A very good look at how things were, once upon a road.

We had planned on leaving Roswell early and picking up Ti in Albuquerque this morning, but just as we were packing up we received a call from Ti that he had missed his flight. Now we officially started our Route 66 self-guided tour. We began from Tucumcari, NM with the hopes of checking out their dinosaur museum. Unfortunately, the museum was closed due to it being a Monday as well as a holiday. The rest of the city was not impressive so we decided to move on back to TX via the historic Route 66.
