        Day 2 started with a 20 minute walk to Pier 33 in cloudy cool weather to catch our Ferry to Alcatraz.         I had decided to book a tour on my first day in San Francisco and then leave things free and easy. It was a half-day tour called "The Ultimate Tour" - was really well done, informative guide, weather stayed good, some nice photo ops and left with ideas of what I wanted to return and see more of.
