... could have stayed there all day taking pictures but we had to leave and make our way to Rock Springs, WY for the night. It was such an amazing drive. One minute you were in the mountains, the next you were surrounded by HooDoos (which make ours in Drumheller look small). We had booked tonight at a KOA for 2 reasons, the first being that after 3 days of travel we thought the kids might like to play in ...

It was an early morning this morning, as we wanted to make an early Coors Brewery tour. As it turned out, the tours started at 10, so we had plenty of time. ... an hour on the clock and the unexpected stop at the Apple Store, we ended up in Rock Springs, about 100 miles short of Rawlins. Glad we're not on a schedule. Tomorrow we head to Nebraska and will see where the road takes us. It's nice to not be pressed for time; our only goal Is to be off the highway no later than 5:00 ...

... in. Down the dirt rode we went. Even in 4 wheel drive we had to turn back once, the sand was thick. We arrived at our camp and went to play on the dunes. I tried surfing down, but the board didn't slide good so I went about 2 mph. We saw more deer, and the largest jack rabbit ever. Laran, I tried to get you a lucky rabbits foot, but it was too fast. All and all a great day and quite tiring. We are spending the night ...
