    Home Sweet Home

Although we had planned on 6 months we made it 113 days and Terry drove the motorhome 7,478 miles and 6,480 in the Jeep totaling 13,958.

We saw everything we wanted to see and were lucky to have good weather every where we went until we hit the south and got the rain and humidity.

Our next journey will continue next year....Stay tuned.

Our last day in Florida was spent in beautiful, historic, St. Augustine’s. A definite tourist attraction filled with lovely homes and lots of taverns, restaurants and shops. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with ...

Despite all this though I did feel pretty safe driving around once I got used to everything, and the automatic gears gave me one less thing to think about. It was certainly an experience though. I didn't get to go out in the ...

A last minute decision to go to the Basketball saw us sitting in the Jacksonville Vetran's arena with the Davis' and the Watt's waiting and not knowing what to expect from this particular basketball game.

Waiting the crowd went a little wild as the music started and out onto the court dressed in their red, white and blue uniforms ran the notorious Harlem Globtrotters!

The two girls were not that eager to go and see the basketball, in ...

... fun a trip. It's a good 30 minute walk from the hotel so I had to make sure I only got the bare essentials, whilst also trying to work out what I could cook in the microwave. I spent an annoying $60 and didn't have my change to tip the bag packing man, who told me "we cool" when I broke the bad news, and off I went with my seven bags (see photo!). I managed ten minutes of walking before I had a rest, which depressingly still left me in sight of ...
