... it but is cooler at night. We are staying at an RV park on the outskirts of Baker City tonight. The kids were disappointed that the pool has closed but we did all go for a hot tub soak. In the RV,the kids ate egg and soldiers (dippy eggs) for tea then we had mince and potatoes. 9.30pm now an everyone is in bed. Off to the Oregon Trail Interpretative Centre tomorrow morning and then a big drive through Idaho and into Utah. Well, that's the plan for now. ...

Staying a couple of nights in bucolic Union, Oregon visiting Brenda's brothers Bob. Had a nice, warm run this morning passing herds of Angus burgers on the hoof and were accompanied by a very large and friendly Malumut for most of the way. A small rodeo was in it's last day at the stock yards. Saw a couple of cowboys get bucked silly. Off to Boise tomorrow for more family ...

Not much happened today except the cattle drive on the road which I got participate in. I would like to thank the Idaho Power Camp Host at Oxbow for being a "Butt" (He didn't like the hammock using his trees). Because of him I found an awesome campsite right on the water.
