We had a 3 hour trip to get to “Hells Canyon Adventure” for a full day jetboat tour of the canyon along the snake river. Had to be there by 9:30 which required us to leave before sunlight around 6 am. It rained overnight so the roads were wet. Dark, wet roads, fallen rocks, gravel, lots of animals (deer, elk, bears), twisty mountain roads (only 75 miles but 3 hours in good weather, you do the math) and temperatures in ...
