    ... immediately boarded another bus to Kaiping. Then, from there, I had to wander around the station asking the bus drivers who would take me to Zili Cun or Li garden. Finally I found the right bus, it was probably the worst bus I've been on yet, but it was a bus nonetheless. He dropped me off outside Li garden and as I was walking there, I noticed a path leading to Zili village, where there are more diaolou buildings.

    3) Village de Zili. Bon là on a un gagnant. Je suis bien contente d'avoir visité les autres avant parce-que sinon ils m'auraient paru bien fades. Le groupe de diaolou de Zili est le mieux conservé et le plus joli. C'est aussi le plus touristique. Cependant, les intérieurs sont un peu moins intéressants, ça fait plus musée.

    ... restaurant in Jiangmen. We found out today, that he selected the restaurant specifically because he wasn't sure if we would like the local food. Mr. Guan spoke a little english, but fortunately our guide was invited to dinner too, so acted as an interpreter. His son, "Jerry" (English name), also spoke english and was very eager to try out his language skills on us. The family was incredibly welcoming and made a big effort to communicate, despite the language barrier. ...
