    ... people who were locals in Byron. There were aged in their mid 20’s. I socialised with them all night long, played pool and admired the house music all night. I got back to my hostel at around midnight. I had an uncomfortable sleep, tossing and turning like there was no tomorrow. I had realised that I had dirty sheets from a fellow roommate. My sheets were below my bunk bed which were fresh and new. I could have had them.

    ... I latched onto my hostel-led walking tour of the city which gave a fantastic view of the city and took me to some really cool spots that I failed to find during the rest of my week.     ... br> Were hungry so went and made beans on toast, but we’d bought ‘English Recipe’ beans, and they were so much better than the Australian type! Waited for a bit after we ate, as we didn’t want to go out at midday due to the heat.

It quickly became pitch black, which we should have realised would happen after just watching the sun go down... but with the fear of snake attack we carried on.
