      ... went to Maleny in the afternoon and had the most remarkable views of the Glass House Mountains. Unbelievable . Then a nice walk at Caircross through native bush.. We had our evening vegan meal with David and Marilyn as we were leaving the next day.

      ... we stayed the nite. Walked the golf course and the city stone wall.

      Drove very early to Glasgow for the start of the Worlds. The day was bright but windy.Cheered on NZ Police and Canterbury Caledonian. Unfortunately NZ Police didn’t make the cut of 10 bands for Saturdays finals but the Canterbury Caledonian did. It was an awful day ,cold ,wet and windy day.       ... a contrast this place was compared to that first hostel I stayed in, just five minutes walk up the road. Everyone here was so friendly, everyone just spoke to everybody else, and everyone was there just to have a great time, have some fun and meet new people. We all just sat on a big table outside, where anyone and everyone were welcome to join in our antics. This is exactly what it was supposed to be like; just nights of laughter, good conversation, silliness and new friendships. ...

      ... record met 281 km/h op een motor.
      In Byron ging onze set up sneller dan de vorige ......oefening baart kunst.....
      De avond was gereserveerd voor de grote rugby wedstrijd tussen New South Wales en Queensland. Het was een thriller van een game en New South Wales heft gewonnen. Daarom is onze blog zo laat want we hebben in de pub gekeken.

      A lovely slow lazy Breakfast with the Hein family and some domestic bliss - washing and washing our hair in a shower that wont run out of hot water!
