So as my new friends left for a small town called Yamba, I set off alone to Byron Bay. I wanted to join the girls in Yamba as I'd never heard of it before and wanted to check out places that people recommended to me. I also had plenty of time before meeting Rich in Brisbane so I was definitely up for joining the others on a new adventure. J & J give us loads of good advice on places to see on our journey and where to walk and adventure. We leave feeling so spoilt and a trifle guilty, it is wonderful to finally catch up with them.

Off to spend the night ...

... was cool. We all got pretty drunk and had a good night. Had some banter hunting down some big rigs lol. But then had to say goodbye to the lads until we catch up with them in cairns. Down to the beach again to make the most of it and discover that the sand is so fine here that it squeaks when you walk on it. The realisation that has hit jake that he's got himself a leech girl. Lin has hooked onto him and isn't going anywhere haha first fallen soldier ...
