      ... several countries to judge by the accents.We found a great bookshop and of course made a purchase or two. Then we went right to the Beach itself.

      There were some interesting sculptures on the sand and lots of surfers enjoying the waves. We booked a table at Fishheads, a restaurant overlooking the surf, for later and then walked back to the car, We returned to the Motel after purchasing a couple of bottles of wine for later ...

      ... at the bar while she worked out what this meant in practise. Two singles in one glass will not beat the system Julia, nor will a single shot in a tumbler. Emma and I left her with some French friends we'd made who in turn left her with the singer of the band. Wanda - a walking cliche. We were woken by a returning Julia, who'd been dropped off the magical mystery bus at the camp entrance and had managed to remember the key code to get in. The band were moving on ...

      ... rugby game at nite.

      Sunday we went into Toowoomba again, this time to Laurel Park. Toowoomba has a big floral festival every year but we wouldn't be here for that so went and looked at what was set up for the festival. The gardens were beautiful and had just started flowering, every year with a different theme. This year was the sea. It was also fathers Day so both rang their Dad. Good to catchup with them really.
