    So after a day of lounging in sulphur baths and a week of exploring Tuscany it was time to make our way back north in preparation for our return to Venice.     ... top of the hill, has spectacular views, fabulous food, and if you are touring and like finer living this is for you.
    The pasta with bacon starter was great.
    The beef with truffles, and grilled vegetables, was magnifico!
    Now it probably deserved a fine wine, Ollie can choose that once he pulls his finger out.
    I'm normally about a half hour stop type of guy, but this because of the menu, and views, got a good two hours out of me.

    ... is a small village in Tuscany , just a hop skip and jump from the borders of the Umbria and Marche regions. Sansepolcro , founded in about 1000AD , is not known for anything majorly famous, so it is not one of the Tuscan "Super-Tourist" towns , which is partly why I chose it .     ... invigorated we want to check the David queue once more, just in case...YES! Much reduced, so we join queue, which feels like a torture for the tourists. Blazing sunshine..the sweat just drips off you & can't believe nobody faints! However after 45 mins we're in. Well worth returning too. To think David is 500 yrs old is astonishing...he is also so HUGE!
