Great hotel. It is brand new and everything is nice and clean. Staff very friendly, great location and great breakfast next door. Only negative the lack of a window.

We settled in for the 8 1/2 hour flight which travelled over Central Australia, Bali and Singapore before arriving in hazy Malaysia. When we arrived we made our way through the massive airport, had our fingerprints scanned, picked up our luggage ...

... opted to do one of the cruise shore tours and chose the ‘KL on your own’. I think this is the best compromise tour – you are escorted into town, told what time you need to be back and then are let loose to see what ever it is you want to see. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get tickets to go up the Petronas Towers as when we arrived in KL the earliest time we could have gone up was 3:00 and our bus back to Port Kelang left at 3:45. The city was busy due to the Malaysian Grand Prix. Met some Aussies who bought me wine and after some certain things were said it made me realise I'm in a good place, I'm fixed and have certainly moved on from the past and living in the ...

So, having spent my 3 months at CCD Thailand, it was time for my real adventures to begin. My final destination was Auckland, New Zealand, but along the way I decided to stop off in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. I spent 2 nights in KL and one in Singapore and I'm very glad I didn't stay any longer than that. Having left Sirin House before even the Monks had visited (ie stupidly early) I was exhausted by the time I reached Kuala Lumpur around lunch time, and therefore not in the mood for ...

... our torches and stood in total darkness, we put our hands in front of our faces and could not see them. It is incredible that animals can live, find food, water and mates and not just survive but flourish, nature is truly wonderful. We have been lucky enough to visit some remarkable caves during our travels, but never has one felt so alive. An incredible place it was a privilege to spend time here. All too soon our tour is over and it is back to the world of light that we ...
