What a fantastic place to stay. So close to all the action in New Orleans. We stayed in #15 the house and we loved it. The place was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Would highly recommend others to stay here

... and nourished with the southern food. New Orleans is lush and full of character, especially after the effects of the disastrous hurricane almost ten years before, there were houses still standing abandoned. Lionel, was telling us about the devastating effects of the community, people just never came back and now the challenge is to rebuild that community. Brass bands played everywhere and bourbon street was just as horrific in the day, pushing a pram, everyone ...

... They seem to appreciate it though, so that's a good thing. They have a bit of a thing for hats here too, both Paul and I have had compliments on our hats- go figure.

We head back out to the NOMA so I can see the sculpture garden. It is lovely and I do enjoy it, but the heat here is so energy sapping, we are both glad to get back on the trolleys and come back to the hotel to shower before we hit the hotspots for the night. We head back down to Frenchman and by now I ...
