    Orlando to Miami 12/06

    Today was spent making our way down from Orlando to Miami. We travelled the 250 miles via Megabus which set us back a whopping $6 (shame we had to pay $35 to do the 8 miles by taxi to get to the Megabus pick up point!).We then got another taxi from our Megabus stop in Miami …

    ... in the system, we know not where! We hope to see it again sometime.

    So, having a day like today, and ending up in this great hotel just goes to prove, that every snow cloud has a silver lining somewhere. All you have to do is to have the courage, savvy and foresight, to find it. The funny thing about all this, is that my family want me to book some of the travel arrangements to go to our daughters wedding in Greece later this year. Would you?

    ... and I also had medium frozen Margarita. Linda also ordered corn balls (creamed corn rolled in corn meal and deep fried and onion rings, also deep fried. They were good but oh so fatty. At least the seafood wasn't.

    From there Joleen drove us to an old plantation. We didn't have time for a tour but I took a few photos. Then to the airport.

    Tried to check in at the wrong airline - fortunately the right one was the next one so ...
