Orlando to Miami 12/06
Today was spent making our way down from Orlando to Miami. We travelled the 250 miles via Megabus which set us back a whopping $6 (shame we had to pay $35 to do the 8 miles by taxi to get to the Megabus pick up point!).We then got another taxi from our Megabus stop in Miami …
... for SJ and ER; small waves, a sand bar, salt in eyes etc. Once we laid some ground rules (i.e. no we are not getting out to get a towel for you to wipe your eyes), we all had a lovely time.
We returned to the strip after dinner to see the buildings lit up and then time to crash in bed.
Tomorrow we head off to Orlando so a 4.5 hour drive awaits!

... speakers, there are many Brazilians as well as all sorts of Europeans. One of our cab drivers was a Haitian guy - there must be quite a few of them, as there are signs in 'Patois' (a Haitian dialect of French) in many places in Miami.
We might be getting used to the American accent on TV (many of the shows on TV at home are American anyway) but we were reminded again of another 'only in America' ...
