... most interesting overall. We loved the dark bread in Iceland, the waffles in Sweden and various dumplings in the Baltics. These Baltic countries had far better coffee than the Scandinavian countries. In Norway and Sweden baristas must be out of fashion at any but the top places there, as it is all automatic select machines. Just not the same. My own barista at home does much better.
... People were picnicking and it was a very beautiful way to honor the deceased. I would love to be buried in such a scenic place still enjoyed by the living. Copenhagen is in a cultural food revolution and it's been fun sampling all of the "New Nordic" cuisine. I was so sad to leave, but while my belly enjoyed its time here, my wallet did not. Too much of it went to food and if I any stayed longer, I would have drained half my savings on New Nordic ...

during the tour of Malmo, I had and almost overwhelming sense of elation
throughout the day. Every time we turned around there were pristine examples of
excellent placemaking, sustainability, transportation, and livability. Too many
to even keep track of: from food waste recycling being used as BRT fuel to varying
building style inorder to maintain a resilient housing market. Of course my
