... went back to the hotel for a siesta. Somewhere between lunch & the Arc, the pop tab broke off of my sandal, so now its kind of like an inverted flip flop. Later, we left around nightime to see all the major stuff again, but this time lit up. I definitely ate a Nutella crepe in front of the Eiffel Tower. It has a memorial to the unknown soldier underneath with an external flame. It is in the centre of an amazing ...

We then got the Batobus along to near Champs Élysées and metro at Opera to head back to the hotel at 5:30 and grab some late lunch from the local patisserie - smoked salmon and salad baguette, choc eclair and apple tart (French food is so delicious). Left again at 6:30 to head to the Eiffel Tower for our prebooked entry at 7:30pm which meant no queue. Reached the second level just as the sun set in a magnificent ball of red. We then bought tickets on that level ...
