... staggered to find that we have only completed two pages of the walking tour, which accordingly shouldn’t have taken more than a few hours.

After our sunset celebration, the No. 333 bus whisks us home to Darlinghurst, and by 8:30pm everyone is in bed (except me, typing up this blog). ...

Lauren here. After a good nights sleep we made our way into Sydney and got the ferry across to Manly Beach for our 2 hour surfing lesson. We donned our wetsuits and had a quick lesson with the surfboards on the beach before we were allowed into the sea for real. Honestly, it was exhausting! The current was pretty strong with some large surfs so just walking out into the sea with the surfboards was quite difficult! We all managed to stand up on ...

    Strangers in a strange land.

... had a cheeky drink and tried playing some cards although we soon realised that the only game either of us actually knew was blackjack so I headed to one of the kiosks on the hunt for a book of card games or something such. To my never ending delight I found Uno but it was nearly 8! Never in this world will I pay such an extortionate amount for Uno, no matter how wonderful a game it is and yet I knew it was integral for our entire journey to have it. So with my deepest of ...
