... the past been completely obsessed with the Wiggles so it was amazing to see them so excited to be there.

The caravan park had the best 20 seater spa I have ever seen and a huge heated pool. We had a great time in it and so did the Mitchell family when they came to see us at the caravan park and check out our 'home' on wheels!

Berenice snuck out for a few hours and got a shopping fix at the Parklea Markets which is over the road from the caravan park we were staying in.
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia jamiesonfamily... of more along the lines of what I thought Australia would look like all along. Very dry and rugged, but also a real small-town kind of atmosphere. Well, except at the place I stayed, which classified itself as 'the party hostel on Maggy.' Base Backpackers was honestly a pretty cool place, but the party host dude was a raging douchebag, and no one even came out of their rooms until like 10:30 - 11:00, and by that time I was about ready to wind down for the ...
Viele ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia nico.schultz... lot of drinking! We took a day trip to Sydney and visited all of the major sights - Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Circular Quay, The Rocks and Darling Harbour.

We also went to my uncles 60th birthday party, where we had a typical Oz bbq and caught up with the rest of the family.
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia zoeandgigsOkay, I’ve not written an update in a while, a bit of a repeat of the excuses used last time, laziness, busyness, and general butcher attitude.
Anyway here we go, oh before I start, thanks to all who have told me they enjoy reading these posts; make me feel J
Okay, where do I start? Well I successfully completed a 3 day contract for a Local Sydney University, it was a nice little contract as I wasn't doing what I did day in day out in London (Copy/Paste/Print ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia kwagjiani... day so we had nice hot sunshine throughout the walk which made it all the better! I was pretty much falling asleep by the time i got back so decided to pass out in bed watching TV.

Sunday, the day of rest. Actually i didnt get much rest at all. Me and Sebastian spent the day walking across the whole city because he didnt want to get a bus or train which i guess in a way is good for our wallets and our waists but was bloody tiring! We checked out the Maratine Museum at ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia stevenmoody... plan to get a little more healthy and fit, a total paradox of my regular antics of huffing and puffing climbing up and down stairs in the London Underground :-), anyway after my jog and a little breakie as they so love to call it here, we decided to look around north of the CBD, towards the one of a kind Sydney Opera House, walking by, Erika (my own little tour guide), mentioned the architect behind the project ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia kwagjiani... in the centre of town, and then after that we had to nip to an outdoor shop to buy hats and gloves - we are now officially k-i-t-t-e-d o-u-t for the cold. And then basically we just packed and did some organisational bits as we are heading to New Zealand!!!! And we are so excited - a new country, new accent, new landscape, new climate and money at a better exchange rate! :-) Love to everybody at home speak soon xxxx
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia jimandnat... the US for Brett's last games. Byron has been a football fan ever since seeing Brett in 1993. His memory is unbelievable, I mean the guy eats, sleeps, and breathes Brett Favre. I could not have been happier to meet someone who finally understood American football (REAL FOOTBALL) and from Tasmania no less. Byron even played for a Tasmanian team at one point, apparently there are 4 teams in "Tazzy" as the locals call it. We talked football and ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia jimmyandkristen... wasn't all that interesting to read about. I wanted to get to bed early that night because I wanted to get up early the following morning for the NCAA tournament, which I have a lot of interest in. I did a two hour conference call earlier in the week to draft teams in a "Calcutta" auction, and I was able to get UNC, UConn, Dayton, Ohio State and a few other teams of note, and of course I am in a couple of bracket contests as well.
