Freezing!!! Even the locals reckon it's cold. Minus 9 overnight. Off to London
Fraser Place Queensgate
Usual story with the Mercedes transport - quick and dodgy!! Good fun..fast trip to Airport.
No worries flight to London on Alitalia. Good trip to Kensington.
Out to dinner at the local pub. 9 x Fish and chips. Aussie waitress.
... the activities on the green. We then strolled around Richmond to the river and sat in nice weather people watching. Then walked back to the train and stopped as you do at “Clarke's” shoe shop with Lorraine weakening and buying 3 pairs, so the “brownie” points will now be equal, home by 5pm, to see the end of the Wimbledon mens final.In a 5 set game Djokovic beat Federer. We all sat outside for a BBQ tea and the rain came down around 7pm, bugger.
Here we are, ready to go.
We had a stroke of good fortune today, Dave phoned the
agent to see if we could leave our cases here at the apartment until 4.00pm so
we wouldn't have to take them to the Left Luggage at St. Pancras.
Yay!!!!!! He said yes, the next time someone takes this
place is Thursday, ...

Stayed here for 5 nights. Great location. 10 mins walk to Victoria & Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall. 15 mins walk to Harrods. 4 blocks from Kensington Palace. Fully self contained room. Very comfortable and very clean.
