Freezing!!! Even the locals reckon it's cold. Minus 9 overnight. Off to London
Fraser Place Queensgate
Usual story with the Mercedes transport - quick and dodgy!! Good fun..fast trip to Airport.
No worries flight to London on Alitalia. Good trip to Kensington.
Out to dinner at the local pub. 9 x Fish and chips. Aussie waitress.
... and I tried to explore as much of it as possible. While the major attraction is the central bathhouse, I made sure to get through the rooms adjacent to it, including the Roman temple. The tour of the baths concluded with a fountain that allowed one to drink a cup of the water, which was at one time considered extraordinarily therapeutic. Though we were warned that the water tasted quite disgustingly, I grabbed a cup and filled it from the fountain. ...
... hasn’t had any before, and I gave him the remainder so he could savour it.
It was unfortunately drizzling a bit on the walk home, but we made it home in one piece and more importantly had time to watch Sherlock. Was a great episode of confusing shocking revelations and cliffhangers!
Joel and I was pretty much packed so we could go straight to bed but was still planning on getting up early for few bits and pieces the next day.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Great location. 10 mins walk to Victoria & Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall. 15 mins walk to Harrods. 4 blocks from Kensington Palace. Fully self contained room. Very comfortable and very clean.
