Last day in Singapore
... want er zijn af en toe van die felle regenbuien. Heb deze ochtend mijn vlucht en verblijf in Hongkong geboekt en ik vertrek reeds rond 7u s ochtends om iets na de middag daar te zijn. Singapore Sling out of a plastic bottle!
... can only be described as visually stunning. It opened in 2010 at a cost of almost £4 billion pounds. The photo's save me from describing it but the platform on the top is 340m long and contains a 150m infinity swimming pool. The hotel also has a huge casino and even its own ice skating rink.
It cost me S$20 to go onto the platform. But I was disappointed to find, out once I was on the top, that the pool area is out ...
Over budget!
... Singaporean I know...) and a cup of tea $50!! It's more expensive than Melbourne. In an attempt to get back on budget, had dinner back in the city with the locals at Fatty's (really). Much more realistic and I think it will be the venue for the next few days to even out the over spend... Ibis hotel on Ben Coolen tidy, clean. **** coffee though! Pics to follow... ...
