7am - Jill Aisling and Myself went out in a canoe on the lake. It was absolutely beautiful with Pelicans, ducks and beavers. It was so tranquil just pad delving around. We had breakfast at 8.15am, quick shower, bag packed and then headed off for a hike.

We drove for about 30 minutes turning off onto an unsealed logging track. We were at the Precipice also known as the 'Baby Grand Canyon'. We followed the ...

Drove down to look at Heart Lake as we left the camp. Then stopped at Bijoux Falls, right next to the highway. Home of a colony of Steller's jays, who obliged for the photos. Drove along McLeod Lake, stopping to pull into Whiskers Point on the lake. Lunch at Crooked River(Bear Lake) Provincial Park, with a huge day area and almost full camp site. Then ...

We are still waiting for the part to arrive from Victoria. Isn't that crazy?
But you know all about waiting for parts Brenda.
However, Williams Lake isn't the worst place to be broken down in.
Yesterday we walked to this nice Bird sanctuary island and biked around the area today.
Hope that the part will be here tomorrow.

        Hi All
Well not much to say about Williams Lake, pretty enough town on a lake, but the trip there Oh My God. The scenery was magnificent ranging from some of the largest ravines I have ever seen to some of the largest rivers and largest mountains and a desert in the middle of it just to add to the diversity. Unlike some of the RV parks we have checked out on the way, I can honestly say the ...

Day 30 Williams Lake to Prince George

Up at 4 a.m. and caught bus at 5:15. I am not sorry to leave Fred and Monika. But I will really miss Fossie. Very nice bus driver. Actually, everyone we have met in PG has been very friendly and helpful, beginning with the cab driver. Then at the donut shop we asked directions to a mall and while we were there at the mall, we looked up and there coming across the parking lot to us was the man, worried that we might not have found it. Then when ...
