    ... the mustard coloured Schloss Frohnburg, the exterior of which was used as the Von Trapp house in the film and through whose intimidating wrought iron gates Maria strode singing "I have confidence". The Schloss is on the lane (Hellbrunner Allee) where the children, in their curtain clothing, hung out of the trees. All the interior shots were staged in California!
